What’s a Father For?

“A father’s love for his daughter is as close a resemblance to God’s love that there can be! For a father loves his daughter without expecting anything in return. He will pray for her, love her, provide for her and protect her just because she is his. And like God, he would even give his life for her. This love even surpasses a husband and wife, for when a man falls in love with a woman, it’s with some expectations of what’s in it for him. But a father’s love is from the heart and ordained by God, in fun and easy times and in hard times.”
