Dealing with Anxiety in The Moment

Try At Least One of These Simple Suggestions:

  • Pray out loud

  • Embrace/deal with your emotions. Refrain from masking or burying those feelings, especially if they are recurring.

  • Write out your thoughts/daily journal (even if it is word vomit)

  • Exercise

  • Rest – give your mind a break
  • Slow, deep and controlled breaths
  • Listen to soothing, uplifting sounds or music
  • Speak out loud or write down what you are grateful for
  • Spend time in nature – take a walk, sit on your porch/balcony, walk your fur baby
  • Stretch and make subtle, repetitive movements with your hands and feet (this helps combat the tingling feeling that can occur when anxiety is on the rise)
